Join us Friday, September 12 from 6 - 9 pm for a gathering celebrating the closing of Halo Staling’s Fairy Prince. The convening will include an artist talk where Starling will discuss his year-long archival research process, collage methodologies, and trans aesthetic tactics. Guest poetry readings will amplify the themes of the exhibition and the night will close with a reception allowing plenty of time to enter ‘faerie space’ for the final time.  

For anyone who cannot attend the reception, the final day to view Fairy Prince is Saturday, September 13 from 10 am - 5 pm.

ONE Archives is excited to be participating in this festival celebrating trans artistry inspired by the landmark 2024 concept album from Red Hot Organization, the storied activist art collective using music as a force for social impact and cultural dialogue. The event includes live performances, a screening room featuring Red Hot’s archive of music videos, and a pop-up reading room on trans and non-binary music history curated by and featuring archival objects from yours truly! No tickets are required for the event but reservations for Getty Center are required, book your visit here.
