ONE Archives Newsletter #12

ONE will be having a busy week! We hope you join us for an after-hours tour of NEED ME this Thursday the 14th, followed by the inaugural L.A. Queer Zine Fest on Sunday the 17th.

Haven’t gotten the chance to see our latest exhibition yet? Join curator Quetzal Arévalo on a tour of the show this Thursday, May 14th at 7 pm. In association with the Bob Flanagan Memorial and Marathon reading at Human Resources on May 16, this tour will have a special focus on artists Bob Flanagan and Sheree Rose. The tour will include an additional selection of objects pulled from Bob and Sheree’s collection at ONE. Masks are required.

THIS SUNDAY, MAY 17, ONE Archives and TRANS• FORM Present: Los Angeles Queer Zine Fest!!!

The Los Angeles Queer Zine Fest is a one-day event celebrating queer and trans zine makers, small publishers, writers, and artists. The event features:

• 50+ queer and trans-identifying vendors sharing zines, prints, small-press publications , art, and handmade goods

• Drag performances by Trantula Vulnicura, Miranda Rights, and Pestilence 

• DJ Gay Felony

• Live Music by Denseboy and Chloe Antoinette

• Zine-making workshop led by ONE Institute

• Poetry workshop hosted by Da Poetry Lounge

• A queer, sexy grill to satisfy your hunger

Please note that there will be no parking available at ONE as the event will take place outside in our parking lot. Please refer to the RSVP link below for the closest parking and more information.
